Alpine Cares: Putting Clients and Communities First

August 31, 2020

On June 1, 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the minimum wage in BC increased. We at Alpine understood the difficulty this could cause for our clients worst-hit by the pandemic, so we decided to do something about it. We instituted the Alpine Wage Relief (AWR) program to help our clients adapt more easily to the new minimum wage.

For the three months after June 1, we absorbed the wage increase for struggling businesses. For those that didn’t want to take advantage of the AWR, we pledged to donate the difference to a local charity.

We are delighted to announce that so far Alpine has donated over $25,000 to BC Children’s Hospital and the Boys and Girls Club, among others. Alpine has a long-running relationship with both charities. These donations are both a demonstration of our dedication to our clients and part of our commitment to actively supporting our community.

Alpine is proud to help out at this difficult time.
